Good gameplay, and lots of interesting narrative, but the manual is not great. Lots of concepts are not referenced in the index (like experience points, which are necessary for skill purchases). Also, there are many, many, many A4 sized cards with reference material, but they are not organized well at all.
Par for the course at Compass Games, sadly.
I had wanted to get all of the meeples to go with the base game and first 3 expansions. I was just missing the rat meeples. Glimmergold was the last piece I needed. The only downside I had was that the upgraded occupied tokens have stickers that need to be applied rather than being screen printed.
Great coins! I use it to upgrade my copy of Pirates of Maracaibo. Perfect match!
