I'm not sure you'd need both Cascadia: Rolling Hills and Rolling Rivers, as they are largely the same game -- it's kind of like buying a "more stuff" expansion that doesn't add a whole lot. However, either would be a good buy. It takes a few minutes to squint through the rules and understand the more complicated playsheets, but once you've got it, the game is very smooth. It's definitely going in our box of games to take with us when we go out, and will be a great warmup game too.
