I was originally drawn to the unique mechanic of rotating the board after every turn and then collecting your workers that are pointed at you. Not only does that mechanic work wonderfully, it also makes the game quite strategic and planning ahead super fun. Each quadrant being it's own mini-game is also great. It works at any player count and even has a decent solo mode. I highly recommend it!

I wasn't expecting much from such a small box game, but this one delivered. Placing the logs and beavers with certain restrictions definitely brought the laughter. And the fact that the back of the box is used as the foundation of the structure is a smart idea. I do think it might get repetitive over time but it's a nice replacement over something like Jenga.

No need to spend extra “upgrading” this game it comes with amazing chunky tokens that click so satisfyingly! Sometimes it hard to get people together and I love the solo mechanics for this game keep me coming back to try and beat the system. When it’s so close you just have to play again 😂

I learned about this game playing it on BGA and it really grew on me. I didn’t know what to expect as I never saw any photos online of the actually game but knew I wanted it for my collection. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up. The game components were of good quality. I love that the cards are thicker card stock and not just flimsy cards. I also liked that they etched in the games name on the card holder. Good use of the packaging size and the coffin inside was a nice touch.

Nova Aetas is a super fun co-operative skirmish campaign adventure game with beautiful production values. It has the largest box of any game in my collection.

I thought this game was going to be easy! Nope! I love small box games that are easy to learn and this one fits the bill! It's so compact and easy to learn but don't let it's size fool you! There's a lot of thinking to this one. I've only played once so far and did absolutely horrible, only got 2 flowers to bloom. I can't wait to play again!
