I like this game a lot. The plastic dispenser I find to be better than the original cardboard one. Still a flimsy plastic but nothing too bad. Will be a recommendation for anyone who likes a quick fun game. Great puzzle and set collection type game. I don’t think I’ve won a single game!! But that doesn’t stop my fun!
Gameplay is the same, quality of the bags is okay but there is alot of fraying inside(can probably fix this with pinking shears)
Designers name is no longer on the box and i disagree with shortening the name to just quacks vs quacks of quedlinberg
Artstyle while not my cup of tea, i can see how people would like it
Having the base game and all expansions and plastic chits at such a low price is a blessing for people that want to buy it for the first time
After trying another one of Reiner Knizia's auction classics, Ra, I had to give Modern Art a try. Even though the actual game is over 30 years old, it plays so well with a lot of variety thanks to the different auction types. Plus this recent edition by CMON games comes with a wooden gavel and easel! Highly recommend it if you like auction games.
