This is like a trick-taking game, but there is no Trump! You want to get rid of all the cards in your hand, but if someone else does it before you, then you will score points for each card in your hand when someone else runs out first. We invented a phrase to help us remember one of the mechanisms. "Set Up, Run Down", because singles, doubles or triples must beat (overwrite) with higher numbers, while runs (2,3,4, or 11,12,13 for example) must be beat (overwrite) with lower numbers. (1,2,3) beats (4,5,6). This is important because if everyone else passes in the round, then you get the lead and can play anything! Very enjoyable fun! Great game! Already played it a half dozen times with my parents. Works very very well with just 2 players!
