Good ideas, maybe a little overkill? And no box...

This expansion has a lot of stuff. It's a bit overwhelming, as the base game is already extremely fiddly and complex. Beware that you probably won't feel the need to add this content if you haven't played the base game A LOT. That's just my opinion though. I haven't played very many modules but they all seem fairly well thought out. The option to destroy buildings is a cool addition, for example, because the base game can get tedious when a building is no longer useful. Roads and Boats is the type of game that can easily incorporate new ideas and I don't think any of the modules lead to rules contradictions or broken games. It's just a question of how much content you feel you need to add. Also, not a big deal, but be aware that this is sold in a sealed plastic bag (no box).
