Commands & Colors: Napoleonics allows you to re-fight epic battles of the Napoleonic era. In this core volume, the focus is on the French and the British, two bitter rivals in the struggle for European preeminence during the time of Napoleon.

As with other games in the Commands & Colors genre, units in both armies can only move and fight when ordered. The command playing cards supply those orders, providing an element of luck that creates a fog of war and presents players with both challenges and opportunities. You must maximize your opportunities by playing your command cards judiciously. How well you handle the diverse units, their weapons, and the terrain, will determine victory.

commands and Colors Napoleonics

Excellent game, best one in the C&C series with best set of rules. Takes some time to sticker the blocks but worth it and even some fun.

One of the best wargames I own

Excellent quality! Immersive, easy to teach and to play for veterans and newbies alike.
It also makes one of the best entry level wargame out there.

Awesome quality

Solid feel, same design as the original game pieces vs some of the coins available on other sites.

Component quality is disappointing

Multiple miscut cubes, wrinkled boards fresh from box.
Gameplay is solid, although port action might be a bit overpowered

Great Solo Effort

I love solo games, and being able to pay a WW1 Flight game is great

Organization Dream

The box is completely unnecessary but gorgeous, and definitely helps get the base game plus expansions to the table. Instead of needing to sort through multiple boxes for the required components, this provides a single solution. And did I say it was gorgeous? Looks amazing on the shelf.

Perfectly balanced rapid euro

Zhanguo is a concise euro that can be played in an hour. Quick turns, decent interaction, engine building, set collection, “temple” tracks and multi use cards. Great game!
