Freedom Five: Cosmic Threats

Aliens have been invading Earth for a long, long time.In the grand scheme of things, it’s no surprise really; the Thorathians, a proud race of militaristic extraterrestrials, have been conquering planets all over the galaxy for thousands of years. Earth has been a bit of a pesky one for them, however. Turns out humans are pretty resilient, and the presence of super-powered individuals has made the planet almost more trouble than it's worth for the invaders. Almost...
But the Thorathian armies aren’t the only presence in the cosmos that has its eyes set on Earth. Ineffable forces stir in the far corners of the galaxy, finding themselves drawn towards our planet’s bright and chaotic inhabitants. There have been a few shining moments in our timeline (such as the creation and inevitable destruction of the sentient A.I., Omnitron) that have earned the attention of beings far beyond our comprehension.
