A very tense game where you want to delve deeper in the dungeon to reach the final boss. It feels impossible at times and then you suddenly manage to do the impossible which is an amazing feeling. Very enjoyable. It made me buy the whole trilogy.
This is a great adaptation of 7 Wonders Duel to the Lord of the Rings story. There are multiple "instant win" criteria based upon alliances with races (akin to the science win in 7 Wonders Duel), the race to get the One Ring to Mount Doom (akin to a military victory in 7 Wonders Duel) and some all new "board presence" criteria.
