I learned about this game playing it on BGA and it really grew on me. I didn’t know what to expect as I never saw any photos online of the actually game but knew I wanted it for my collection. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up. The game components were of good quality. I love that the cards are thicker card stock and not just flimsy cards. I also liked that they etched in the games name on the card holder. Good use of the packaging size and the coffin inside was a nice touch.
I originally purchased Ice Cool based on the recommendation of my daughter who is a teacher. She happened upon the game when she was running a Board Games Club at the school where she works and she told me that it was a blast and loved by the students (grades 4-6). I bought it to add to my family's game collection, specifically thinking of my 6 year old granddaughter. We totally expect that she will love the game because we have played the game and it is fantastic!! Easy to learn, everyone is engaged as there is no real down time between turns. Definitely fun for the entire family!!
Hi, I love the Mayday Sleeves Premium! I have had sleeves from other brands but Mayday Sleeves are the best IMO.
We played it three times in one night. It balances it's difficulty very well.
