The excitement in the air is electric as the leaders round the last corner and head for the finish line. Each team has used cunning and skill to position their sprinter for this moment, but only one has done enough to pull off the win!

Will your team lead from the front and risk exhaustion? Should you play it safe in the middle of the pack? Could you surprise everyone by striking from the back? Can you time your move perfectly?

Anyone can race, few become champions!

Flamme Rouge is a fast-paced, tactical bicycle racing game where each player controls a team of two riders: a Rouleur and a Sprinteur. The players’ goal is to be the first to cross the finish line with one of their riders. Players move their riders forward by drawing and playing cards from that riders specific deck, depleting it as they go. Use slipstreams to avoid exhaustion and position your team for a well timed sprint for the win.

Simple, fun time

The gameplay is so simple, it will take only a few minutes to teach, and then you will have endless fun. There is some unpredictability and chaos to the game, but a skilled player can mitigate a lot of that, and in a fun, light game, the randomness gives everyone a chance and adds to the fun.

Very simple, family-friendly game

Probably a bit too simple for experienced gamers but quick to learn and teach. Turns tend to be repetitive which can be a bonus when playing with non-gamers. Enjoyable way to pass the time but won't tax the brain cells. Extremely light strategy. Not sure how this game won so many awards.

Shines with multiple plays

This is a great little deck building (destruction?) racing game with super simple mechanics that make it a snap to learn and teach. The biggest difficulties for new players is managing the difference between the draw pile, the discard pile and the "played cards" pile for each of two decks. It's easy to miss a card or put in in the wrong spot which can really ruin the flow of the game. The game really takes off when you play a series of races back to back with fatigue carrying over between courses. So, I'd recommend this as a game you'll want to play 3 or 4 times in a row rather than a one-off every now and then.

Great racer

Every person in the group likes this game early in their first play. Really fun racing game with high replayability
