Friday
, the second game in Friese's Freitag-project, (Black Friday was the first) is about Robinson and Friday (Freitag). The player is Friday and must help Robinson to survive and prepare him for the last two battles against the pirates.

Friday is a deck-building game in which you try to add good cards to the deck and get rid of the bad ones. With this deck you fight against the dangers. If you defeat one danger (card), you will add this card to your deck (good). If you lose against a danger, you lose some health tokens, but you can get rid of the cards you lost with (generally weaker cards).

If you have no health tokens left and lose one more health point: game over; if you defeat both pirates, you win.

Challenging and Satisfying

Can be frustrating in the best way possible. Overall, a great solo challenge to satisfy your whim

Nice solo deck building game. A little challenging as I never managed to reach the final boss in my multiple playthroughs.

My second copy of a great game

This is one of my most played games. I gave my first copy to a friend and promptly bought a replacement copy for myself. It's a clever deck builder/deck destruction game where you gain cards by overcoming obstacles (gaining experience) but you gain weaknesses each time you cycle your deck (aging).

Tough but good Solo

Definitely recommend this one for anyone who plays solo. It easy to learn and set up with a lot of tough decisions and is quite difficult to win. I great small box quick solo to have on the shelf.

Fun solo deck build to help a guy off an island, changes every game
