If you like To Many Bones, you will love this game. A true spiritual successor with enough differences that you can easily own both. Close to 14 kg of fun in the base box… and the magnetic day/turn counter is so cool.
Anyone looking to jump in easily, there is a free tutorial app on Dized that will teach you almost everything while walking you through the starter scenario… a definite 10/10
This game reminds me so much of Final Fantasy Tactics. Move, then attack. Very simple for young kids to learn the standard rules, plus and there's an advanced version for teens and adults with every figure having special abilities and whatnot. Building the terrain is one of the best aspects of the game; it's not played out on a flat table like warhammer and other such games, you build a highly detailed 3D map that can be as big as your imagination allows... I built a 15 foot tall castle to play and display at my local comic con once!!!
