Simple and fun auction game with a basketball flavor

Got this because my son is really into basketball 🏀
You play as a team manager trying to offer contracts to the players that will score you the most points and bring in the most money possible so you can spend it on better players. At it's core it's an auction game.

The names of real basketball players were changed in ways that made us chuckle, the rule book could use more clarity for certain situations that can arise but aren't mentioned. Overall, the rules are simple enough, the production is good but the game is still pricier than I think it should be.

I like that my son already mentioned that we could make our own player cards to add to the game if we wanted.

The theme is generic, meaning you could swap basketball for hockey or any other 5 player sport and it would work but the implementation is done well.
