Players 2-5
Playtime 20 mins
Suggested Age 8 and up

In Sleeping Queens 2: The Rescue, the Pancake Queen, the Ladybug Queen, and their friends return with some new characters and a new mission: Save the kings!

Play queens to rescue kings from a parade of perilous predicaments. Find a magical companion to aid your quest, but watch out for Wild Gnomes, Sleeping Willows, and the ever-sneaky Switch Witch! Each player has a knight in front of themselves with a special power, but don't get too attached because if anyone rolls a dragon on the die, all the knights move left. Save the most kings and crown yourself the royal hero!

Kids love it

Both of my kids (9yo girl, 7yo boy) love this game. Arguably my daughter likes it more, preferring the idea that the queens are saving the kings this time. The game is different enough to feel fresh while still being familiar for anyone who played the original game. The introduction of more components (dice, knights, companions) does slow down the game a bit, but we're generally still done in 15-30 minutes. This is the game that we keep pulling out, out of the 4 we've gotten over the holidays.

Very enjoyable family game

A straight forward card game with clean rules, building on the success of the original Sleeping Queens. Even though the game is moderately dependent on the element of luck, special cards and the knights with unique abilities allow for some interesting strategy. These new additional features really spice up the tension. My daughter and wife thoroughly enjoyed it. A solid and quick family game.
