Winter is coming! In the heart of the forest, animals are preparing to hibernate. They're getting organized for a cozy winter. Are you ready to give them a hand? In Hygge, help the forest animals find and put away their favorite things before winter arrives. But be careful, you don't know exactly when it will arrive. Collect as many items as possible, but also the most valuable ones, to win the game. Remember to take the rows or columns of cards that interest you, and think carefully about what you're leaving for the other players. You will need to strike a balance between caution and haste.

Theme gives urgency

Feels like a super quick game that is true to its theme of storing things before winter arrives suddenly (original version is cleaning up before the guests arrive). Played at 4 players and that meant very little time for storage / clean-up so I was glad its played over 3 rounds to learn from my mistakes! ;) Played at 2 players and while it felt like there was more time to store items before winter, the game still has urgency to it.
