In Macoco, you're trying to grab cards as quickly as possible.
Each player takes an even part of the shuffled deck face down in front of them, and on a turn, the next player reveals their top card face up in the center of the table. If more monkeys appear than any fruit or other animal on the card, yell "Macoco!" If a fruit or non-monkey animal appears most frequently, yell the name of that object. If nothing has a majority, yell "Nada!" The one exception: If a giant coconut appears in the center of the card, say nothing and slap the card.
If you are the first to correctly say the right thing or slap the card, you win it. If you're wrong, you suffer no penalty, but are out for the round. If everyone is wrong or multiple people do the right thing at the same time, no one wins the card. Leave it in the middle of the table, and whoever wins next takes all cards piled up.
Once all the cards have been played, whoever has collected the most cards wins.
