Players 2-4
Playtime 30 mins

Imagine a hamster's exercise wheel, divided into numerous segments and separated by low fences (built obviously for a National Hunt racing hamster).

In Hamsterrolle, the players each receive seven wooden pieces, which they aim to place (one per person per turn) within the wheel without any pieces falling out. Any pieces dislodged are taken back as a penalty, and the first to get rid of her pieces wins.

A Blast for everyone. Push your luck, Laugh at and curse others.

This is a must have game for me personally. I don't ever see it leaving the collection , as it's brought so much joy in the short time I've had it out of shrink. It's from 2 - 4 players, but I'll say the best time I've ever had was with a group of 9 - on teams, and then a crowd of 10 or more watching and cheering and Ooooing and laughing. It plays well with less as well - BUT, I find you should us ALL the pieces for maximum fun. The last 3 player game I had, after we get our pieces, each of us goes around the table choosing 1 of the remaining pieces from the player pieces that were not in play. 1 left over, put it in the box. There's some grey area rules in this game, which means it's good to come up with some house rules. A couple of mine are, no jamming pieces into a compartment so they're held by friction. I fear compartment dividers breaking at some point. Another one is you can hold onto the wheel when you place a piece - and you can let go however you want, fast, slow, whatever. If multiple players say a move will be impossible, then the player shouldn't even try. this is a very grey area one, and it's best, in the end, to just relax a bit and not get too competitive on the rules. I've played with kids as young as 7, and relatives as old as 78. There are now probably 5 copies in the hands of family and friends because of me.
