Tuscany Essential Edition features three expansions to Viticulture: the extended board (and 36 wooden stars), structure cards/mats, and special workers (14 meeples instead of the 66 in the original Tuscany, but gameplay is the same). All other expansions in the original Tuscany will go out of print.

Viticulture Essential Edition is recommended for use with Tuscany Essential Edition, but older versions of Viticulture will work fine too.

Great game. We just played last night. (I won!) Makes Vitaculture a different game altogether. Enjoyed it. *One note if you ever redo the board - to make the fields part of the board and have a SOLD token to put on a field. Just to use less table space and the cards are awkward. BUT - a small thing. We enjoy the game!

The new game board included in this expansion is a much improved version of the viticulture board, and the only way we play the game. Offers more options for your engine building, and we’ll never play without this expansion
