The Stand-In Heroes expansion adds 6 new Heroes with exceptional abilities and tactics. Each of them takes place of the corresponding Hero from the core game in their last attempt to stop the Great Machine.

Takes a Bit to Grasp, But Packed Full of Fun!

It took me a bit to get my head around all the different actions, but once it begins to sink in you can see how much fun is in this little package. The multiplayer is full of deep strategy with both sides terribly vulnerable to upset. And the solo/coop game is even deeper, with missions added to the mix of special abilities and events.

As always with CrowD the production is fabulous and the rulebooks are beyond comprehensive, right down to the thick reference guide (that you won't need to read unless you have a fiddly question or want to try the many variants). Definitely worth picking up!
