Good expansion, disappointing packaging

So the expansion is great. It adds a lot to gameplay and is a good addition to Everdell. But if you're expecting a lot of content in this, you'll be disappointed. When I opened the box I thought there was content missing. Well there was and wasn't. The box is designed to store the deluxe content which was only available during the Kickstarter. The game comes with a board extension, some cards, plastic pearls and some small punch outs. The content could fit in a box half the size. The only way to get the deluxe content would be to buy the upcoming deluxe upgrade pack that will be released sometime in 2020.
