I decided to try the deeper trays for counter storage after seeing a few reviews on Youtube. What could possibly go wrong? Right? The trays arrived promptly with no visible damage. So far so good. It was then time to put one of them to the test and I filled two or three of the compartments to see how many counters they could possibly hold. Up to this point things are working out as advertised. Then comes the lid. Should be simple enough, but no matter how I try one of the corners keeps popping back up. What gives? I try the lid on another tray and I get the same result. I can't get all four corners to stay down at once. I then have the brilliant idea of trying a different lid on the two trays in question. The result - no problems. It fits like a glove, as do the other three tray lids. It seems the questionable lid is just ever so slightly smaller than the other four which prevents it fitting snugly and securely to the tray bottom. I was a little miffed at first but I still have four usable trays and a spare bottom if need be.
