Two families vie for power as you settle a new provincial town. Build camps and banks, smithies and harbors and control growth as your town develops!

Province is a two-player game in which you must strategically manage your resources and workers to build, complete goals, and score the most victory points to win! The game features a communal worker pool representing the available workers in your town. Players move their workers to generate resources (Labor and Coin) that are used to build the various Structures, which in turn effect resource generation — but your opponent can also move the workers, leaving you without the resources you need!

Beautiful illustrations. Well integrated theme. Straightforward rules. Thinky decisions. Plays great solo.

Lots of fun...

I've been waiting for a good racing game for a while, and this one is great. Some randomness mixed in with strategy and timing is awesome. The use of "bot" racers is well done and challenging. It's a very well balanced game and using the simple rules it's quick for new players to pickup. Definitely recommended!

Duo Mondo

If you're a fan of the original Res Arcana OR if you just like dueling gamed in general this one is a solid choice.

Not crisp enough

While it’s convenient to have everything laid out on the mat without the need for overlays or an extra board, the quality could have been better—especially given the number of small icons that require clarity. In terms of convenience, playmats already have a slight disadvantage due to storage difficulties, which can be frustrating. All things considered, I probably would have preferred sticking with the original boards, but since I bought it, I use it.
