More of a Great Thing!

This expansion adds a lot of really good additions to the excellent Fields of Arle. Most notably, it allows for a 3rd player to join the fun. It also adds some new actions, new buildings, and tea as a new resource. I recommend playing a good amount of the original before adding this. The base game has a LOT of options to explore already. I also think getting the two-player game down before adding a third helps. Once you add the expansion, you will always use it. Fields of Arle was already my favorite Rosenberg game. This makes it even better!

Essential for Arle fans

If you are thinking about getting Fields of Arle then the expansion is a must-buy as it really rounds out the game. Since buying it, I have not played a game without the expansion. Again, wonderful solo or with a friend (or two!).
