Honors 2015 Golden Geek Best Party Board Game Nominee

Monikers is a party game based on the public domain game Celebrity, where players take turns attempting to get their teammates to guess names by describing or imitating well-known people.

In the first round, clue givers can say anything they want, except for the name itself. For the second round, clue givers can only say one word. And in the final round, clue givers can’t say anything at all: they can only use gestures and charades.

The publisher has now revamped their product line for how they want to release new games in the future.

For this new edition of Monikers they wrapped everything up in all new packaging, illustrated by the *brilliant* Cécile Gariépy as one long, ridiculous, interconnected party.

This is the base 440-card set but not all the cards are the same as found in the first edition.

For completionists, the base game has had about 30-40% turnover since the initial 2015 release, so if you have a super old copy, now might be the time to update.

Best party game

When looking into this game, I didn’t think I’d love it so much. After playing this at game nights, it’s always such a hit and super hilarious. It’s a must have for fans of party games! FYI: Some of the cards are inappropriate for younger audiences

After watching the shut up and sit down review of this game, I was excited and this didn't disappoint!
