Heat: Heavy Rain

They has space to put more in the box for the price. Missing a Championship sheet that includes 7 cars. Additional maps would have been nice as the Mexico map does not add anything new to the game. Only yhe Japan map does.

The Heat: Heavy Rain expansion is, in my opinion, a great addition to an already great game. I've seen many criticisms regarding this expansion that say it's not worth the price. My argument in response is that most people said Heat: Pedal to the Metal sold at a fantastic price for the base set. I agree with these folks when they said it was like getting a base game with multiple expansions in one box at a great price point. Given how great the base game is, I have no complaint that Days of Wonder is charging a little more for this expansion. You get the additional race car, and everything that goes along with it, 2 new tracks, and the new flooded tracks and chicanes elements. The only real complaint I have (and kept me from giving this a 5 star rating) is that they did not provide a new deck of legends cards that would incorporate the new orange car. So, if no players decide to play the orange car, you either have to not play the orange car as a bot, or you need to awkwardly assign the orange car to another car color in the deck and use that color throughout the game. I mean, come on, Days of Wonder couldn't have provided a 10 card replacement deck for this? I hope they rectify this with the 2nd expansion. Regardless, I can't wait for the 2nd expansion. I think Heat, as a game system, is a homerun for Days of Wonder.

Pricey expansion. Don't like the idea that you need to buy the expansion to get the 7th and 8th players.
