Easy to learn, quick to play. Box is unnecessarily weird and hard to put on a shelf

Quick, Easy and Ruthless at Times

Excellent game for starting out and getting people to warm up! Discarding and replacing cards (deck building in a way). Steal cards from other players allowing others to ruthless. Simple strategy and quick play through allows for multiple games with quick sucession. Even excellent for your children - they can memorize the vegetables and their easy actions. This allows younger ones to play with the whole family.

this is just such a great small easy and quick little deck builder / destroyer. Easy to grasp and plays quick. gamewright bringing the great quality as always. highly recommend this one for a filler or anyone with kids around

Quick, Fun & Humorous

This is a family friendly deck builder where your sole objective is to Abandon All Artichokes. Its fun, quick and silly. The only thing I would like to see improved is the tin insert but overall the game is a great time for all ages.

Brilliant introduction to deck building

My 6-year-old daughter loved this game. She's requested it 4 times since we first played it last night. The first words out of her mouth this morning were "Daddy, can we play the spaceship game again?"
Everything is so streamlined and easy to understand for kids. There is no text on the cards, just symbols. Everything is really clear (either get a coin, do a damage, heal some damage, or draw a card). Immediately my daughter understood the idea of buying cards from the same "team" so that they would work together. She plans ahead and buys cards that she needs to build up on her strategy. The art is cute and appealing. There is so much to love about this simple, relatively inexpensive game.
When I introduced this game, I explained that it is called a Deck building game because we build up our decks with more powerful cards, and I pointed out that there are lots of OTHER deck building games we can try later, ones with superheroes (Marvel Legendary), Star Wars (SW Deckbuilding Game), and Lord of the Rings (LOTR Deckbuilding Game). Halfway through our first game, my daughter said "I love this game. I think this might be my new favourite kind of game." I'm certainly looking forward to exploring more deck building games with her soon, but for now this is providing us with everything we need to consistently have a great time.
