Expansions Hellapagos: They're No Longer Alone

Hellapagos is a "co-opetition" game in which players struggle to survive on a desert island and build a raft to escape before a hurricane devastates them. While players need to work together, its not likely that everyone will survive this backstabbing negotiation game for up to twelve players.

Great for large groups

This game is very simple to play and learn. Works well in a large group as it supports up to 12 players.

Best Party Game out there

After hunting for this game for a couple years I found it and have since purchased copies for most groups that have played it.
I call this a party game because it is light enough to get the party game crowd in, but heavy enough that you can have a deep strategic time.

The game is simple, each player gets 1 action per turn (collect food, water, wood for the raft, or search for wreckage) and then everyone gets to eat and drink and move to the next turn (game is 7 - 12 turns)

What players are trying to do is collect enough wood to make a raft for everyone and have enough extra food and water so they can escape the island before the hurricane comes.
It is a cooperative game.... until it is not.

A point can come within the game where there is not enough food, water, or ,when the time comes, enough spots on the raft. Then the chaos begins. Alliances will form, votes will be cast, and maybe even bullets fired. Anything to get the number of survivors low enough to get every living person food, water, and a spot off the Island.

The expansion for the game is highly recommended as it adds asymmetric powers, event cards, and new items.

I am glad to see this one is in high stock now, and apologize for all the times I bought it (4 so far) when there was only 1 copy for sale.
