We had purchased this escape room board game for Family Day just to do something different and it was GREAT! I would definitely recommend for families or even for a bunch of adult friends. It made us think, gave us some laughs, and was overall pretty well put together. Once we understood how the characters were "used" in the game it made a whole lot more sense. There was just one section of the game that was almost like an addition that really made zero sense to us and we unfortunately had to use some hints to get past this section. It said 12+ but we had a couple of adults and a 9 year old and we managed quite well! It was nice that you could do the game in chunks too if you needed a break but if this was a game you had an afternoon or evening to complete I'd say give yourself the time, have a good size snack and enjoy!! Board Game Bliss was great to work with too. Ordering was easy and the item was shipped promptly and arrived in great time. I would absolutely order from them again!!

Had a blast with this! If you loved Scooby-Doo all those years ago, I expect you will love this just as much. The characters' personalities really shine through and the puzzle are challenging enough for a family without being too much.

This is a great escape room game for the whole family. It uses an innovative way to check for clues and the game oozes theme; it really feels like you are in an episode of Scooby Doo, and we had a blast just trying to voice the Scooby gang characters. The game is split into two chapters (so it's lengthier than an average escape room game), and unlike other escape room games, there's no physical time limit; so for those who don't like the real time element in gaming (I know I don't), then this is really worth checking out. However, similar to other escape room games, there really isn't a lot in terms of replayability, but for $30, this is an awesome way to spend a family evening. It also came out at the same time as the direct-to-stream Scooby movie (even though it was supposed to be released in theatres), so for kids who aren't too familiar with Scooby Doo, they can watch the movie before playing! Finally, the game is designed by veteran board game designers known well in the hobby gaming industry, so you know it will be a quality product.
