The army box of Iulius Caesar allows, naturally, to put in command of your forces the well-known Roman proconsul and dictator, paradigm of all the later Roman generals and emperors. Alongside him also ride the resolute Titus Labienus -whose loyalty to the Republic will lead him to abandon Caesar and fight under the banners of Pompeius in 49 B.C.- and the energetic Marcus Antonius, right-hand man of the proconsul during the Civil War. The remaining 37 cards of this box of 40 offer the player emblematic units such as the legion X Equestris -true elite of the armies of the proconsul- the fierce XIII Gemina or the Gauls enlisted in the V Alaudae, as well as a good quantity of legionary infantry resulting from the reforms of Gaius Marius -known since then as the elite of the armies of the proconsul, as a result of the same, as “Mario’s mules” -, mercenaries like the skilled Cretan archers and allies of the Caesarian forces like the fearsome Germanic horsemen, a group of troops with which they aspire to bring Gaul, Rome itself… and the world to its knees!
