An asymmetric, cooperative dungeon defense game for 1-4 players where you play as the monsters protecting their hard earned treasures against invading hordes of looters (so-called heroes) trying to steal it.

In their turn players draw 5 cards and play, these cards allow them to move, activate the tiles they are to perform the tiles actions, attack heroes, and move their units around. After each player, draw and perform cards from the heroes deck.

Your goal as a team in every scenario is to survive the 3 levels of threat from the invading heroes by protecting the treasures on each room. If the main treasure is taken, the game ends end you loose, but if you manage to protect the treasures for long enough, you all win.

Fun little game with a few imbalances.

This is a fun, relatively simple dungeon defence/deckbuilder game with cutesy art and a humorous approach to the typical fantasy setting.

The game comes with a large number of player factions or monsters, a fairly lengthy campaign, and enough strategy to keep more hardcore gamers interested while also being relatively light on rules so that the family can also enjoy it.

I should mention though that the difficulty is wildly imbalanced, though. For more experienced players, the standard 'Family' setting is probably going to be far too easy, while the normal or 'Challenge' can often see you pulling out your hair. A game could be going completely fine and then suddenly end in a single turn due to unforeseen circumstances or bad card draw. It's something that even the developer understands is a bit of a miss. (It was later corrected in one of the expansions.) Basically, you'll probably have to house-rule this one to find the difficulty sweet spot.

Also, not all of the player factions are balanced, with some feeling far more situational than others, and a few 'easy' or OP factions to let kids enjoy this one.

The deckbuilding is pretty light, but once you have an engine rolling, you can easily see turns where you're playing upwards a dozen cards or more per turn, and then you really start to feel like a wrecking crew. (Although some people may find this being a matter of the game being too easy, perhaps.)

I still enjoy this one though. It's not super heavy, and a game can be played in 30 - 60 minutes, depending on the player count.

I would definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys this kind of game and doesn't mind having to alter a few elements to get it to where they personally find it enjoyable.
