Pre-Order Policy
- Pre-order items are charged at the time the order is placed.
- Prices for pre-order items are subject to change based on final landed costs.
- If the final price is lower, the difference will be refunded to the customer in the form of store credit.
- If the final price is higher, customers will be given the option to either:
- Pay the difference, or
- Cancel the item for a full refund.
- Orders containing pre-order items will be placed on hold until all items in the order are available.
- Once all items have arrived and pricing remains unchanged, the order will be automatically shipped.

While empires rise and fall in Eastern Europa, the rest of the world takes notice. Two distant factions, Albion and Togawa, send emissaries to scout the land and employ their own distinct styles of conquering. This expansion to Scythe adds 2 new factions: 10 miniatures, 62 custom wooden tokens, and 2 faction mats. It also includes some new cardboard tokens, 2 new player mats, 6 Automa cards, and a custom plastic insert designed to fit into the expansion box or the original Scythe box.
Originally the game was to be capped at 5 players, but I wanted to include 2 new player mats in the expansion. I realized that some people were going to use the mats to play 6-7 player games no matter what the box says, so I needed to make sure the game worked for them! To scale up, the expansion includes alternate abilities for some of the original factions.
Invaders from Afar will be available in December 2016 via retailers with an MSRP of $30. We'll post teasers on BGG and the Scythe Facebook group, and we'll announce the release on the Stonemaier Games e-newsletter.
