50 Clues (6 Games Bundle)

My husband and I have now completed 2 full games out of 3 - it's a card game with clues and puzzles that need to be completed in order to save the people at the end of the game. Each game is complete in itself however it is a series. Some puzzles are easy enough, but others are quite difficult to figure out - there are hints available but then "points" are lost. Overall, I'm glad we purchased these.

This was fun to play and instructions were easy. The story is kinda dark, though, so put that in mind when solving for clues.

I am not crazy about the puzzles or the "storylines". I have done lots of escape room style games, and this would be at the very bottom on my list. That said - the sale price was incredible and I don't regret trying it at that price!

I've tried a lot of escape/puzzle games but I've not seen an ongoing story like this. Each game is a chapter of a larger story, but are each self contained games.

The story is very engaging and it gets daaaark.

The codes and such are inputted to a website rather than an app, which is a lot better to me. The downside of this is the hints are not searchable and instead the hint button only gives you info on what the designers thought was your next puzzle.

FAQ - no elements are damaged, marked, or destroyed so it can be easily reset. It's a deck of about 50 cards so just put them back in order. There is an unique code for the website and it allows 50 plays.

This is a great deal for so much play.
