I don’t usually do upgrade packs and TRICKTAKERs was not the one to start on. The replacement “coins” are just pink and white squares. I prefer the look and numbered cardboard version, the replacements for the base game ruler tokens are coloured blank squares. It comes with a bidding dice for the gambler that isn’t needed but I guess is a nod to the OG Japanese game. I do really like the crowns I will be using those, so I guess worth the $6 but not the $12 shipping. There is a cat and a rabbit meeple but I was a little underwhelmed not needed and hard to get all back in the box. You’d have to take out the insert or stash some underneath it.
