Expansion For
Carcassonne

A completely new type of mini-expansion for Carcassonne!
During your journey across the Carcassonne scoreboard you will meet friendly people who will help you up the ladders. But be careful, there are also dangerous snakes that will eat you and set you back in the points race.

The expansion comes as a sticker for the scoreboard.
You can stick this on the back of your existing scoreboard or order a stickered scoreboard from us.

Setup
Use the Snakes & Ladders-scoreboard instead of the usual one. Then, as usual, you place a meeple from each player on field 0.

Gameplay
This expansion does not change the regular gameplay.
Follow the steps as usual 1. Place a land tile, 2. Place a meeple and 3. Score points.

Score points:
As in the basic game, you count the points you collect in the game on this scoreboard. However, there are some special fields where the scoring meeples are moved.
• On fields 1, 16 and 32 is a bottom of a ladder. This is marked by a person.
• On the fields 13, 31, 39 and 48 is the head of a snake.
After you have scored everything, you look on the scoreboard where the scoring meeples are.
• If a scoring meeple is at the bottom of a ladder, it climbs "up" and is now at the end of the ladder.
• If a scoring meeple is at a snake's head, it is "eaten" and moves to the end of the snake's tail
