A Wingspan Game - but it is different

This is a very good game. If you have played Wingspan then you will see that many of the features of that game have been carried over (tucked cards, getting eggs, etc.). But Finspan is different enough that it is not simply a repackaging of Wingspan. The fact that you can control your discarded cards and get them back opens up a whole new aspect of play and control over your game. There is very little player interaction. What there is is limited to "all players get an egg/card/etc.". Summary - like Wingspan, yet has new playing features that make it a different game.

Underrated game!

Seasons was a pleasant surprise. Easy to set up, simple mechanics, however the depth lies in the card play. A prelude of card drafting begins the forethought of card use, including separating your initial 9 cards into three hands played in year 1,2, and 3. Dice are your resource collection to pay to Summon cards into play, or add cards to your current hand, or increase your gage to Summon more cards into your Tableau. Clever, interesting game. Keeping this one.
