Go7 Gaming - SMASH-001 Insert for Smash Up

This insert is designed to fit inside the original, core Smash Up box. Just one insert can easily store a couple of core card sets, the two released expansions, and more! This insert is designed for use with cards that are not sleeved or sleeved with Ultra Pro Deck Protectors/KMC Perfect Size/Mayday Premiums.  Larger standard sleeves will cause the sleeve to stick up above the insert due to the very small publisher box.

This insert also features a center storage lane for cardboard tokens, etc.  We like to keep our bases and VP tokens in the small bit lane in the center.

Product Notes

• This insert provides two (2) organizational lanes for vertical card storage. There is enough clearance at the top for rulebooks. Note that this insert is slightly taller than the box it sits in to account for sleeves (~1.4mm).  The insert provides a firm structure for this slight offset so no need to worry about the box structure when stored.
• External dimensions: 226mm x 226mm x 69mm high (8.89″ x 8.89″ x 2.71″ high).
• This insert has 440mm of card lane storage. It can store ~1466 unsleeved cards or ~916 Mayday Premium sleeved cards (.48mm per card), ~830 Ultra Pro Deck Protector sleeved cards (.53mm per card), ~1100 KMC Perfect Size sleeved cards (.40mm per card), or ~800 Dragon Shield sleeved cards (.55 per card). Keep in mind each acrylic divider will also use 2.286mm of card lane space. The values used for the card thickness estimate = .30mm.
• This insert has narrow lanes due to the size of the box and the two-lane design. Recommended sleeves for the cards include Ultra Pro Deck Protectors, KMC Perfect Size, Mayday Premiums, and Dragon Shields. FFG Standard sleeves will not fit in this insert.
• Image is of prototype using 3mm Baltic Birch. Production insert uses HDF wood product.
• This insert is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
• Includes fifteen (15) clear acrylic dividers (model SMASH-DIV-002). Additional divider packs of type SMASH-DIV-002 should be used. The DIV-002 design allows for the attachment of Post-it Durable Hanging File Folder Tabs (adhesive) for divider notes.
• Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 15 minutes of assembly time. I recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
